Our story
Much more than a campsite on the Costa da Morte: a place where things happen and where you can feel at home
Here you don’t just come to sleep on the Costa da Morte. You come to experience culture, nature and community in a privileged setting between the sea and the mountains.
Camping Lago-Mar is a corner in the heart of the Costa da Morte where the calm of the sea, the warmth of the people and a cultural offer you wouldn’t expect all come together.
It is a space where you can disconnect, but also connect: with yourself, with nature and with people who come from very different places, yet feel at home.
This project was born from a shared story: that of four friends from Muxía who, from a very young age, created a cultural association to bring life to their town.
They organised festivals, concerts, activities… not for business, but for the love of art, music and their people.
Over time, that drive became a way of life.
When the opportunity arose to take over this campsite, it was clear to us: we could turn it into a space where we could continue doing what has always driven us, but with more strength and greater impact.
A project with soul (and roots) in the heart of nature
This place is run by four lifelong friends, born here, in Muxía.
We grew up organising festivals, activities and dreaming of changing things a little from the local level. One day we saw that this campsite became available, and we knew it: here we could do something different. Not just manage a place, but bring it to life.
Adri is the one who makes sure everything works.
Since he was very young, he was driven by sport, action and teamwork. He left his profession as a podiatrist to return to his land and build something meaningful. For him, the campsite is the centre of everything: “It’s like our core, the space from which we create, welcome and connect with people.”
Manu is the cultural soul of the campsite.
Since the age of 17, he has organised concerts and festivals. Today he makes sure that things are always happening here: live music, theatre, workshops, art… He believes this place should be a living space, and you can feel it. “We want culture not to be an extra, but the heart of the place.”
David is the one who looks after balance the most.
Between the tradition we inherited from those who were here for 40 years, and what we want to bring in. For him, taking care of the campsite is a way of honouring that history and improving it. “What matters is that people come and want to stay. That they come back. That they feel this place has something special.”
Sergio is the one who adds flavour to everything.
Literally. He is the chef, the one who looks after the vegetable garden and the chickens, the one who transforms local products into dishes with soul. His challenge was to turn the kitchen, which was the weakest point, into a source of pride for the campsite. “Here I can do what I love: cook, meet people and live peacefully in a place that is both calm and future.”

If you come, you will feel it
Everyone who arrives here is looking for something different: rest, fresh air, good food, good music, tranquillity. And what they find, many times, is much more.
We don’t want to tell you that we are the best. We want you to come and experience it for yourself. Because if there is one thing we are sure of, it is that this place has something that cannot be explained. But it can be felt.
