Travelling families
Real stories from those who have already experienced Lago-Mar
There are places that can be described with words…
And others that you only understand when you live them.
Camping Lago-Mar belongs to the latter.
That’s why there’s no better way to tell you who we are than through the people who have already been here: families, travellers, musicians, friends who arrived by chance and today feel it as their home.
Each testimonial you’ll see here is not just an opinion.
It’s a story of trust, of summer, of laughter, of shared meals, of small details that make people come back year after year.
“The food these guys make is wonderful.” — Issei y Asier
“I need to live here.”
— Camino
“This is not a campsite, it’s much more.”
— Rubén, músico
“I’m sure that if you come, you’ll come back.”
— Javier
“These four guys aren’t owners, they are special people”
— Alejandro
In every word there is something that repeats: the energy, the care and the soul of this place.
We are not just another campsite.
We are a community open to the sea, made up of people who love what they do and visitors who end up becoming part of the family.
Discover what they say and understand why they all agree on the same thing: once you come, you always come back.
1. Luis – The traveller who found trust and calm
Luis has been coming to Lago-Mar for years.
He arrived looking for a few days of rest and found something more: trust, closeness and a community that makes him feel at home.
He returns every summer because, as he says, “it feels really good here”, and because the atmosphere, the music and the personal treatment are hard to find anywhere else.
2. Haizea and Eki – A family that comes back every summer
They discovered the campsite by chance and, three years later, it has become their summer place.
They come with their children, who run freely between the beach and the games, while they enjoy the tranquillity, cleanliness and the closeness of the team.
They sum it up with a phrase that says it all: “There’s no doubt about it here.”
3. Large family (Jon and company) – Where every Sunday smells like paella
They arrived for the first time three years ago and haven’t missed a summer since.
What started as a getaway turned into a family tradition: beach, vermouth, friends and Sunday paellas prepared by Sergio.
For them, Lago-Mar is synonymous with good food, friendship and shared life.
4. Issei and Asier – A family that found their place
They came looking for a comfortable place with good weather, and found much more: an authentic connection with the team and a cuisine that won them over.
Today, for them, “the food these guys make is wonderful” and the personal treatment is unbeatable.
They leave every year with the feeling of having been among friends.
5. Camino – The local who stayed for love of the place
She lives nearby, but in Lago-Mar she found something different: energy, music, community and care.
She came once out of curiosity and hasn’t been able to stop coming back.
“I need to live here,” she says, and you can tell she truly means it.
For Camino, the campsite is not a destination, but a way of being.
6. Rubén – The musician who discovered a campsite with soul
He came to play for the first time without knowing what to expect, and was surprised by the surroundings, the people and the authenticity of the place.
He wasn’t a camper, but he returns every season because he feels part of something real.
As he himself sums it up, “this is not a campsite, it’s much more.”
7. Javier – The father who found safety and humanity
He arrived through the internet, without references, planning to stay just a few days.
Now, every year he extends his stay.
His children enjoy themselves like he did when he was young, and he especially values the care and attention of the team: “I’m sure that if you come, you’ll come back.”
8. Alejandro – The experienced camper who recognises something different
After more than twenty years travelling through campsites, Alejandro and his family found something here they had never seen before.
Space, human warmth and a gastronomy that is an experience in itself.
“These four guys aren’t owners, they are special people.”
He says it with a smile, because he knows he has found a unique place.
