We are not going to try to convince you that this is NOT a campsite, because it is.
But it is not a normal campsite.
Yes, we have the services of a 3-star campsite, but we are much more than just a campsite.
We carry Galician culture in our DNA, and that can be seen in every corner of the campsite.

“I’m not really into campsites… will I feel comfortable?”

Many people thought the same before coming.
But Lago-Mar is not your typical campsite: here, comfort and soul come together.
You will sleep facing the sea, with all the comforts, but with a warmth that cannot be manufactured.
That is why those who arrive with doubts end up coming back every year.

“And the northern weather? Doesn’t it rain a lot?”

Galicia is authentic precisely because of that: because it changes, because it is alive.
Here, the sea and the wind remind you that you are in a real place.
And when the sun comes out (which it does), there is nothing comparable to having breakfast overlooking Lago Beach or watching a sunset over Touriñán.
Besides, there are always plans indoors: concerts, dinners, workshops… Life here does not stop.

“I’m travelling with children… will they be entertained and safe?”

Yes, very much so.
The campsite is designed so that the little ones can run free, swim, make friends and move around safely.
Parents rest, children enjoy themselves, and everyone shares real time together.
That is why so many families say the same: “here the children are happy, and so are we.”

“Is there a good atmosphere or is it too quiet?”

That is one of the things that surprises people the most.
There is life, there is energy, but without crowds or noise.
During the day, calm prevails, and at night, music, laughter or a conversation outdoors.
A balance that can only be achieved when the place is shaped by its people.

“And is the food good?”

Much more than good.
Many of our returning visitors go on a diet as soon as they leave the campsite because they have not been able to resist what we offer here.
Our cuisine is part of the soul of the project: local produce, simple dishes and the taste of home.
Sunday paellas, fresh fish, Galician wines…
Most people who visit us end up saying the same: “we didn’t expect to eat like this at a campsite.”

There is no single answer.
Some explain it through the surroundings, others through the people, others through the culture or the food.
But most agree on a feeling that is difficult to put into words:

We are in the heart of the Costa da Morte, a corner of Galicia full of wild beaches, lighthouses, trails and villages with history.
You can explore Muxía, visit Touriñán Lighthouse, walk the Camino de Santiago, the Camiño dos Faros, or simply get lost along roads that end at the sea.
